Dear Wonderful AC Singers:

Sorry to take almost a week to respond to such a beautiful day, to beautiful singing and to beautiful people, but, our @home.com service has been out since last Saturday(4th). But, we are back up today and  one of the first things I wanted to do was visit the WTW site and read your many comments on last Sat. Once again, many thanks to the reunion committee for an outstanding job.

I still remember the fine '93 singing, but the 2001 performance was very special.  Maybe it was the music  or just the fact that here we  were together again making music for the second time.  The ladies singing brought tears to my eyes(as always) and the guys.......what can I say. After all these years, you can still make the girls swoon.  (OK, Billy, the next time "drunken sailor")

And what lovely  and needed gifts!!!!  These are things I just dreamed of having one day.  We both will be able to use them for many years.

But, I especially wanted to thank you for your  many kind comments to me both written and spoken and for the honor you paid to me that evening. I really had not prepared anything to say, because it still seems a little strange  to receive such wonderful and kind words after all these years. You see, I still just remember coming into the choir room and saying," OK get your  music, sit down and stop talking, let's get to work".  But, the results  of that were some loving choirs, some beautiful music and close friends after 20+ years.

Now, because of your giving back to me, I once again find myself going into the class room/choir room and saying,"  OK, get your music, sit down and stop talking, let's get to work".  But, this time I find myself doing and saying things with purpose.  Because, all the while I'm  thinking, it produced some magic once at a special place and time, and maybe, just maybe a little magic will happen again.  And at the end of the last school year, students would come up to me  and say "thanks for being here"  and "will you be coming back next year?"

So, what I gave to you, you give back to me, so that I can give again. But, that is life,  giving and serving others.

So, what about a third time?  That's what everyone was saying as this one ended.  But,  in meantime, we can keep in contact via web site and email. John said that both would  remain up.  So, post things  about you, family, anything and let us know what is going on.  Until then.............
